Enjoy the valleys and desert landscapes of Morocco's interior on a journey to the city of Ouarzazate. This full-day excursion shows you the grand scenery of the Atlas Mountains, the iconic buildings of the former garrison city, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Ben-Haddou.

Your journey out from Marrakech takes you into the mountains and through the Tizi n'Tichka, North Africa's highest mountain pass at 7,415 feet (2,260 m). Admire the magnificence and beauty of the landscape and visit the famous fortified city of Ait Ben-Haddou, whose distinctive earthen clay buildings have served as a backdrop in film and TV productions from Lawrence of Arabia to Game of Thrones.

After a delicious 3-course lunch, the tour takes you through the city of Ouarzazate itself. Visit the ancient Casbahs of Taourirt and Tiffoultoute, former residences of Thami El Glaoui, the Pasha of Marrakech and a pivotal figure in mid-20th-century Morocco, before you head back to Marrakech in the evening.
