What you can expect

  • Snorkel with whale sharks in Oslob, land on Sumilon Island and cool off at Tumalog Falls, all in one day with a licensed local guide by your side.

    Learn Cebu from the locals
    Your trained, licensed guide travels with you all day, in addition to your driver. On the long drive south they share stories of Cebu’s history and everyday local life, in English or Japanese. They handle your Oslob registration for you.

    Your day
    • 1:30–3:00 AM: hotel pickup in Cebu City or Mactan, with a convenience store stop for breakfast
    • Morning: whale shark snorkeling in Oslob (99% sighting rate)
    • Tumalog Falls: short motorbike ride (included) to the misty waterfall
    • Sumilon Island: banca boat ride, landing and snorkeling. When the tide is right, a white sandbar appears
    • Lunch at a local restaurant (paid on site), then the drive back.
    • Back at your hotel around 4:00–5:00 PM (may vary with traffic).

    Pack light
    A free GoPro (on request), towels and life jackets are provided. Professional instructors film you underwater, and the footage is sent to your phone the same day.
