Scenic Sea Train Experience from Nishi-Maizuru to Amanohashidate (Approx. 70 minutes, including ticketing & boarding time)
At Nishi-Maizuru Station, board a coastal train bound for Amanohashidate.
This experience includes the Train No. 223D fare.
Departure: 09:44 from Nishi-Maizuru Station
Arrival: 10:28 at Amanohashidate Station
Non-reserved seating; standing may be required during busy periods
10:30 – Amanohashidate
Amanohashidate Area Exploration (Approx. 2 hours, free time)
Guests may explore freely or choose a package with or without cable car & sightseeing boat.
Amanohashidate is one of Japan’s Three Scenic Views, alongside Matsushima and Miyajima. Its shape resembles a bridge reaching toward the heavens—hence the name “Bridge to Heaven.”
Amanohashidate View Land (Cable Car Required)
Here, visitors can enjoy the famous “Matanozoki” (crotch-viewing) style—when viewed upside down, the sandbar appears like a dragon soaring into the sky, known as “Flying Dragon View.”

A 250 m-long panoramic corridor overlooking Amanohashidate and Miyazu Bay

Chion-ji Temple – Temple of Wisdom

Kaisenkyo Bridge
A rare rotating bridge that turns 90 degrees to allow boats to pass

Ine Funaya – “The Venice of Japan” (Approx. 2 hours, free time)
Recognized as part of The Most Beautiful Villages in Japan, Ine is famed for its unique Funaya (boathouse) architecture.
Funaya Observatory
A popular viewpoint offering panoramic views over Ine Bay and its boathouses.
Also a filming location for the NHK morning drama Eenyobo.
Ine Café (Funaya Biyori)
The INE ❤ CAFE sign is a popular Instagram photo spot.
Ineura Park
An excellent ground-level photo spot for capturing the front-facing Funaya along the coast.
Ine Bay Sightseeing Boat (Optional)
Available if you book the Cable Car & Boat Ticket Package.
If not included, tickets may be purchased on-site.
Duration: approx. 25 minutes
Departures: every hour & half hour

Seagull feed: ¥100 per pack
Enjoy views of the boathouses from the upper deck and feed seagulls along the way.
If service is suspended due to weather, free exploration will replace the cruise.
