Using professional tufting guns and more than 60 colors of yarn, you’ll craft your rug by hand and watch your design come to life. Your finished piece can be taken home the very same day as a memorable handmade souvenir from Kyoto.

The workshop takes place in our newly renovated Japanese-themed studio, a hidden creative space inspired by Japanese folklore and traditional culture. Surrounded by glowing lanterns, vibrant maple leaves, traditional Japanese artwork, and striking Oni and Kitsune motifs, you’ll feel as if you’ve stepped into a fantasy world found nowhere else in Kyoto.

Unlike outdoor activities, this experience takes place entirely indoors, making it the perfect activity regardless of the weather. Whether it’s raining, snowing, or a hot summer day, you can comfortably enjoy creating your masterpiece in our unique Japanese atmosphere.

No prior experience is required. Our friendly staff will guide you through every step, making this workshop perfect for beginners, solo travelers, couples, friends, and families.

In approximately 2–3 hours, you’ll complete a one-of-a-kind rug that will preserve the memories of your Kyoto adventure for years to come.
