Panagia Arkoudorematos is located in the Mainalo ravine and although it is a small church, it is one of the most sacred places in Arcadia and has been designated a historical monument.
At an altitude of 1200 m., above the ravines of Mainalo, stands proud , the glorious Limpovisi. A village with few houses and all of them abandoned. However, it is a village with a glorious history, a place that gave birth to heroes. After all, Theodoros Kolokotronis was also born there .
And it is no coincidence that anyone who arrives in Limpovisi, Arcadia ,immediately feels an immense awe. And is ready to travel through time and history, through the memories of the place. And most of them are in the Kolokotronai family's house, waiting for the visitor to flood him with knowledge and pride.

One day hiking experience inside the forests and rivers of Arcadia.For many considered the best area for hiking- trekking in Greece due to the unique Green landscape. Not far away from the selected pick up locations we begin our route from the beautiful village of Piana, which is nestled on the mountain side of Mount Mainalos. Passing through the forest, we reach Arkoudorema, a village abandoned since 1928. Deep within the ravine, we explore the ruins of old houses and the preserved Church of Arkoudorema, along with a restored stone fountain. The green moss covering the stones creates an almost magical, fairytale-like atmosphere. Our trekking concludes in Limpovisi, the village where Theodoros Kolokotronis, a national hero of the Greek Revolution, was born and raised. Highlights: The preserved Church of Arkoudorema, the stone fountain, the unique lush landscape. After the tour, what could be better than a visit to the local tavernas? As locals, we know exactly where to find the best traditional food.
