Let's stop and close our eyes. The sounds of the beautiful bamboo trunks and leaves touching each other in the morning breeze have a relaxing and soothing effect on the visitors.

This is a famous temple which is an icon of Samurai culture. It once was the villa of retired shogun and was converted into a temple after his death. The main building covered with gold leaf is incredibly beautiful in itself. In addition to that, the harmony with the nearby pond and the surrounding garden makes the scenery magnificent. When you come to Kyoto, you can’t miss this site.
