What you can expect

Okinawan Traditional Cuisine with Master Jun
Experience the essence of Okinawa through agriculture, food, and the spirit and traditions of the island.
Surrounded by the rich natural beauty of Sesoko Island, participate in agricultural activities to harvest vegetables and ingredients native to Sesoko Island, and feel the vitality of this island, often referred to as Okinawa's treasure.

Feel the texture of vegetables and herbs with your fingertips and experience Okinawa's nature.
Warm-hearted local farmers will share their knowledge and answer even simple questions with care.
We offer a deep connection with nature.
After cultivating the land, enjoy the fruits of your harvest.
As a special part of this experience, you will also learn how to make “Kusu,” a secret Okinawan seasoning passed down through generations. This traditional recipe, usually kept secret within families, will be shared exclusively with you—a rare opportunity to glimpse into Okinawa's culinary heritage. The Kusu you create will be a personal keepsake, allowing you to bring the flavors of Okinawa home and cherish them.

Following this, we will prepare traditional Okinawan dishes using seasonal local ingredients, including those you harvested together. By sharing warm meals and heartfelt conversations with farmers and local people, you will have the chance to deepen your understanding of the people and culture that support Okinawa's rich culinary traditions.

We hope to spend the day with you in this rural setting and around the dining table, creating lasting memories, strengthening bonds, cooking together, and sharing happy moments.
