On this guided cycling tour, you will explore the everyday streets of Naha and Shuri, where local life, Ryukyu history, and Okinawan culture quietly remain. Meet at our shop near Makishi Monorail Station Our shop is just a 1-minute walk from Makishi Monorail Station. After picking up your bike, our guide will give you a short safety briefing so everyone can enjoy the ride comfortably.

Tsuboya Yachimun Dori

“Yachimun” means pottery in the Okinawan language. About 300 years ago, during the Ryukyu Kingdom era, pottery kilns from different areas were gathered in this district. Since then, Tsuboya has continued to be known as Naha’s traditional pottery area. By bicycle, we will also ride through narrow nostalgic streets that are difficult to explore by car or on a regular sightseeing route.

Asato (Sambil lalu)

We will pass near Asato Shotengai, an area once known as one of Naha’s nightlife districts. Today, it becomes lively in the evening with izakayas, local restaurants, and small bars. It may be a great place to return to after the tour for dinner or drinks.

Mihara (Sambil lalu)

Ride through quiet residential areas where a few traditional houses still remain. As you pass through these local streets, you will get a glimpse of Okinawa’s everyday atmosphere and feel the slower rhythm of local life.
