Discover one of Norway’s most peaceful and fun winter activities as you step straight into the Hardangerfjord from the shoreline in Norheimsund. The sheltered bay outside Thon Hotel Sandven offers calm water, easy access, and a slightly urban fjord atmosphere with the waterfront and marina close by.

After a short safety briefing, your guide helps you into a warm, professional immersion suit. From here, you choose how you want to enjoy the experience: float calmly on the fjord, walk in and out of the water as you like, or even jump off the pier in the suit for an extra fun moment. You are free to enter and exit the water several times during the session, and your guide stays close throughout for safety and comfort.

Most guests enjoy 25–35 minutes on the water, drifting weightlessly while taking in the quiet winter scenery. The mix of serene fjord nature and the small village setting creates a nice atmosphere by the Hardangerfjord.

When the session ends, we gather by the fjord for a warm drink and light refreshments—a simple and relaxing way to round off your winter experience in Norheimsund.
