Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park

Begin your trip to DMZ from Seoul at Imjingak Pyeonghwa-Nuri Park, a serene tribute to Korean War refugees. Marvel at the “Iron Horse” train, a symbol of the severed railway between North and South Korea, and reflect on the park’s role as a safe haven during the conflict. This stop sets a poignant tone for your Korean Demilitarized Zone tour.

Bridge of Freedom

Walk the historic Bridge of Freedom, used by 12,773 prisoners of war to cross the Imjin River and return home to South Korea in 1953. This emotionally charged site offers a tangible connection to the Korean War’s human stories. Capture the moment against a stunning natural backdrop, making it a highlight of your DMZ Tour in Korea.

The Third Tunnel

A stop not to be missed on our itinerary is the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel. Located 12 kilometers from Munsan and 52 from Seoul, the tunnel was discovered in 1978. Its purpose was to be used to invade the South. At 1,635 meters long, 2 meters high, and 2 wide, the tunnel can move an entire division per hour! The curious fact here is that when the tunnel was discovered, North Korea alleged that the South had built it for a surprise attack, but evidence points to the contrary. Walking through will feel like you’ve stepped back in time! Explore its chilling history and feel the weight of the past on this must-visit stop of our group DMZ tour from Seoul.

This traveler-favorite stop offers a rare glimpse across the border, making it the pinnacle of your DMZ tour from Seoul.
