What you can expect

Embark on a day trip to Nishio, a small town located in the south-central part of Aichi Prefecture. Discover the town's matcha production process and make your own matcha cup with the guidance of a local guide.

Start your day with a video introduction of the matcha production process. Learn about the history of Nishio Matcha from your local guide. Then, head to the tea fields and take photos while wearing the traditional tea outfit.
(*Tea leaves picking experience is not included in this tour.)

After the tea field tour, take a brief factory tour to watch how the leaves are dried and prepared for tea-making. Once you finish the tea factory tour, make your matcha cup for drinking with the guidance of the local tour guide.

Finally, enjoy the green tea with sweets.
