The Candle Procession is one of the most iconic rites in Fátima. During the major pilgrimages, which take place almost year-round, this procession carries the image of Our Lady to the altar in the Prayer Enclosure. The procession follows a route through the Prayer Enclosure, returning to the Chapel of the Apparitions.
