After visiting Panagia Drosiani, you'll continue hiking toward the village of Moni, enjoying panoramic views of Naxos' rugged hills and fertile valleys. Along the way, you'll walk through some of the oldest olive groves in the world, where trees over 1,000 years old still produce olives today, reflecting the island's enduring agricultural heritage.
The trail then leads to the village of Kaloxylos, where you'll visit a traditional olive press and enjoy a guided tasting of carefully selected Naxian olive oils and olives. From classic extra virgin olive oil to unique local blends with mandarin, truffle, garlic, and Naxian citron, each tasting is paired with traditional local products for an authentic taste of the island.
