What you can expect

Day 1: Bimmah Sink Hole, Fins Beach, Wadi Shab, Romantic Cave, Ras Al Hadd

Depart Muscat and head to the Bimmah Sink Hole, a big crater near the sea with a small lake at the bottom, which is believed to have been created by a meteor. Continue to Fins Beach, known for its strikingly white sand and blue waters.

Next, drive to Wadi Shab, an enormous canyon gorge lined with palm trees. Hike for about 35 minutes through the canyon to reach crystal-clear water pools. Swim through the warm waters from pool to pool, eventually reaching a crevice cave with a small waterfall. Inside, sunlight filters in, turning the water into a beautiful turquoise blue.

Afterward, visit the Romantic Cave before heading to your hotel in Ras Al Hadd. Spend the night at Turtle Beach Resort with dinner and breakfast included. Optionally, watch turtles in the evening.

Day 2: Sur, Dhow Factory, Omani Ghazal Farm, Wadi Bani Khalid, Wahiba Sands Desert

After breakfast, drive to Sur and explore the city, including its old fortresses and the famous Arabian Dhow Factory, where traditional wooden dhows are built. Continue to the Omani Ghazal Farm in Al Kamel (Asilel Farm).

Next, visit Wadi Bani Khalid, one of the biggest and most beautiful wadis in Oman. Swim, sunbathe, relax, and have a picnic in the scenic wadi canyons. In the late afternoon, head to your desert camp in the Wahiba Sands desert. Relax or take part in an adventurous 4×4 drive in the sand dunes. Watch the stunning sunset from one of the big sand dunes. Finish the day with dinner at the camp and a romantic time around a campfire. Spend the night at Al Salam Camp with dinner and breakfast included. Optionally, watch the sunset and sunrise from the dunes.

Day 3: Wahiba Sands Desert, Visit Bedouin House, Nizwa Fort, Nizwa Souq, Birkat Al Mouz, Jebel Akhdar, Diana’s View Point, Back to Muscat

Watch the sunrise early in the morning from the dunes before breakfast. Depart the Wahiba Sands Desert, stopping for photos in the dunes. Visit a Bedouin house before continuing to Nizwa Fort and Nizwa Souq.

After lunch, drive to Birkat Al Mouz, a unique village nestled into a mountain face. See the irrigation system of Al Kattmyn, one of the five irrigation systems of Oman added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 2006.

Finally, drive to Jebel Akhdar and stop at Diana’s View Point before returning to Muscat.
