What you can expect
Start your day at 8 Railway Street, South Murwillumbah — the white house with the white picket fence at the start of the trail. Get fitted with a helmet, complete a Trail Ready induction, and get everything packed and ready. In just ten minutes, you’ll be rolling.
Ride out through working dairy farms as the trail disappears beneath a canopy of trees. Feel the cool air, dappled light, and the quiet hum of your motor. The full day starts here.
Stop at the Tweed Regional Gallery and Margaret Olley Art Centre, a world-class art gallery with free entry. The permanent Margaret Olley Art Centre recreates the legendary Australian artist's home studio and is alone worth the detour. With views to Wollumbin/Mount Warning from the gallery café, this is one of the most unexpected stops on any bike trail in the country. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 10am–5pm.
Stop in at Hosanna Farm for one of the trail's most loved local moments. Enjoy animal encounters, fresh air, and a genuine Northern Rivers experience.
Turn on your lights and ride through the famous 500m tunnel — cool, dark, atmospheric, and one of the best photos of your day.
Take a break at a café of your choice. Station 22 at Upper Burringbar, The Barn at Burringbar, or the Moo Moo Road House. A full day means you can actually sit down and enjoy it.
Visit a natural wine shop tucked into the Northern Rivers valley. Browse, taste, and pick up something for this evening.
Stop at the cheese factory, because great wine deserves great cheese. A full day exclusive and one of the trail's best stops.
Take a dip in the secret swimming hole. Your guide will tell you exactly where it is on the day. That's all we're saying.
End your ride at the Victory Hotel. Enjoy a cold drink, good company, and the perfect way to mark the far end of the trail before the easy ride home.
Roll back into Murwillumbah, visit any of the stops you missed. Finish with full memories and the quiet satisfaction of a full day well spent.
