You will meet your guide at the main station where, by train, you will be whisked away through the Bavarian countryside. Your professional guide will inform you about the Kloster's history and what life was and still is like for the monks.
When you arrive at the shores of lake Ammersee you have the choice of a hike up the hill to the monastery along a pilgrims path or taking a bus ride. Once at the top you can explore the fabulous baroque church and explore the grounds of the monastery. Then you can sit down to a well deserved beer (or soft drink) in the rustic on site beerhall or beer garden and tuck into the locally sourced delicacies.
