Explore the Yahuarcaca lakes and streams by traditional canoe, with knowledgeable guides sharing the legends of the lakes and explaining how the local communities use and manage the flooded forest based on their ancestral wisdom. You'll have the opportunity to spot diverse wildlife, including aquatic birds, monkeys, and other fauna. Don't miss climbing the famous PAINÜ tree, or "walking tree," a highlight of Yahuarcaca. You can also enjoy traditional fishing, take in the beautiful scenery, and swim in the lakes, all while savoring the traditional seven roots drink.
Day 2: Amazon River Journey to Puerto Nariño and the Tarapoto Dolphin Sanctuary.

Day 3: Connecting with Huitoto Traditions in a Maloca

Journey to a traditional indigenous Maloca on the Leticia-Tarapacá road for an immersive cultural experience with the Murui-Huitoto community. The day also features a 1-hour rainforest walk to see primates and medicinal plants, and includes a traditional lunch.
Day 4: Dosel Experience: Tree Climbing & Canopy Adventure

Departing from the city of Leticia, at kilometer 10 of the Leticia – Tarapacá highway, you can experience the adventure of climbing trees up to 35 meters high. On the canopy platform, you will observe the different layers of the rainforest (canopy, understory, and forest floor). Afterward, you will walk across a 100-meter hanging bridge, and finally, you will descend.
