Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu, Transfer to Hotel

On the first day of the trip the representatives from the agency will be waiting for you at the arrival terminal of Tribhuwan International Airport. We will be there with a vehicle to pick you up from the Airport to the Hotel in Kathmandu. The drive will take us around 25-30 minutes depending on the traffic condition. On our way we will also witness one of the most important temple for Hindus built in 300 BC, Pashupatinath Temple. Rest of the day will be on your own, as the hotel is in the heart of Thamel area it will be easy to kill time doing various activities like pubbing, clubbing, shopping, or just strolling around the touristic Thamel area.
Day 2: Fly from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar and Drive to Num (1,560 m)

On this Day, you’ll begin your journey with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar, which takes approximately 35–45 minutes. Upon arriving in Tumlingtar, you will embark on a drive to the village of Num, located about 40 kilometers away. The drive takes approximately 4 to 5 hours, winding through rugged mountain terrain, passing through small villages, terraced fields, and lush forests. Num, a small settlement perched on a ridge, will be your first stop, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and serving as the gateway to the Makalu-Barun National Park.
