Overview

The country is defined by the beautiful Tien Shan mountain range which occupies 90% of the country, lush valleys and about 2000 crystal-clear alpine lakes. What is also special about Kyrgyzstan is that it still preserves and values centuries-old nomadic traditions.
If you love mountains and the outdoors and you’re interested in learning more about the nomadic lifestyle of Central Asia, then you’ll love traveling to Kyrgyzstan! It’s one of the few off-the-beaten-path countries where you can still get a taste of the authentic nomadic culture.
Go and visit Kyrgyzstan now. It is only a simple flight from Istanbul and the government’s commitment to developing tourists means it will not stay this empty for long.
But, for now, it remains as it was: a place where you can feel the rhythm of life as it once was and still can be. Remind yourself of what that is like while you still can.
