Begin your adventure with a pickup from Kutaisi at 7:00 AM. Travel for 3 hours to reach Mtirala National Park, located between the territories of Kobuleti, Khelvachauri, and Keda municipalities.
Upon arrival, embark on a 17-kilometer hiking trail through the park, led by a professional, English-speaking trekking guide. Discover the rich flora and fauna, including chestnut and beech groves, Colchic-type mixed forests, and rare endemic species native to the Adjara-Lazeti region.
As you hike, learn about the park's unique ecosystem and its significance as one of the most humid areas in Europe. The mountain, rising to 1,761 meters above sea level, is frequently visited by rain and thick fog, earning it the name “Mtirala,” meaning “weeping” or “crying.”
Stop for a break at a designated picnic area or campsite, and enjoy the serene natural surroundings. Continue your hike to the tourist shelter located at the halfway point of the trail, where you'll spend the night.
Explore more of the park's attractions, including the Rope Park, which features two zones: one for family trips and another for adults.
