In the afternoon, enjoy a short nature walk or simply take in the spectacular views of the sacred mountain and surrounding Samburu plains. After an early breakfast, begin your guided hike up Mount Ololokwe, one of northern Kenya’s most iconic and sacred mountains. The hike takes you through rugged trails and rewarding viewpoints overlooking the vast Samburu landscape. After reaching the summit and enjoying time for photography and relaxation, descend back to the base and continue to Buffalo Springs National Reserve. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive where you may spot elephants, Grevy’s zebras, giraffes, lions, oryx, and other wildlife unique to northern Kenya. Dinner and overnight at a safari lodge or camp within or near the reserve.
