The mountain offers a beautiful sulfur lake at the top and also a wall of sulphure around it. The lake of Mount Ijen is one of the potions lakes in Indonesia because the temperature is more than 60' celsius and a lot of sulfur inside. Reaching the summit will need walking for about 2 hours by feet, but always be careful because the road is narrow and slippery in some parts. The other story is that Mount Ijen has a lot of sulfur miners who can help you if any trouble on your trip. Not only the lake and sulfur that you can see here because Mount Ijen some years ago had a new attraction called Blue Flame or local said api biru. The blue flame is not a real natural phenomenon because it happened from the crack in a pipe of sulfur.
