The tour we offer is the most complete available, allowing you to reach the summit craters of the volcano at 3300 meters.
The excursion starts from our office, where we will provide you with all the equipment for the trekking: boots, helmets, hiking stiks, jackets, gloves etc.
From there you will take a cable car and a 4x4 jeep up to 2850 meters, where the trekking to reach the central crater begins.
You will have the opportunity to walk on the most recent lava flows, cross lava fractures and witness volcanic activity, that will make you feel like you are walking on Mars, all accompanied by an experienced multilingual guide.
This itinerary also includes the crossing and the visit of ancient eruptive cones and huge lava expanses, as well as the passage in a panoramic area, from where it will be possible to admire the “Valle del Bove”, a large depression, home to the eruptive cones of Etna. From the summit you will also enjoy a breathtaking view of the ionian coast of Sicily.
