It is based on a hike with a bilingual naturalist guide inside the forest of the Curicancha Reserve, approximately a 4-hour tour. The preferred start time is 6:30 a.m. The distance of the walk varies from 2 km to 3 km depending on forest activity, and the trails are very well designed for anyone capable of walking. The goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the Monteverde forest and to observe the natural richness found within it. To achieve this, the guide carries a high-definition spotting scope to allow for better viewing of what is observed. Monteverde, for its part, is known as a natural paradise and a strategic location for birdwatching, especially for species such as the Resplendent Quetzal, toucans, the Bellbird, among others.
