Visit the Old Town of Trebinje and its wide 19th-century Austrian alleys and squares, covered by the thick shade of Great Plane Trees. Visit the 17th-century Ottoman Turkish walled part of the city and enter through an auxiliary town gate to the Trebisnjica riverfront. Learn about the Bosnian way of life, people, customs, and its delicious food. If you did not have lunch already, try a portion of Chevapcici (meat sticks in Pita bread with cream cheese), or taste some of the local sweets such as baklava or urmasica.

Climb up the Hercegovacka Gracanica hill for great panoramic views of the whole town of Trebinje area, Friars' field, Trebisnjica River, and Leotar mountain in the back. Enter the church of the Holy Annunciation (free) and marvel at the ceiling frescoes and huge golden chandeliers.
