After pickup, begin your journey with a scenic drive to the Old Orhei (Orheiul Vechi) region, one of Moldova’s most remarkable historical and cultural sites. Located on the banks of the Răut River, Old Orhei is an open-air archaeological and historical complex set in the countryside, featuring spectacular caves carved into limestone cliffs.

During the visit, you will explore ancient cave monasteries, including the oldest Orthodox skete, “Peștere”, approximately 60 meters above the river.
After exploring Old Orhei, continue to “Pivnițele din Brănești”, one of Moldova’s most impressive underground wineries. Enjoy a guided wine tour and tasting, sampling a selection of white and red wines, sparkling wines, dry, semi-dry, and dessert wines. The winery is especially renowned for its vintage wines and those produced using special technologies, such as Madeira, Marsala, and pastoral-style wines.
