A no-stress relaxed 3-hour walk will take you on a journey into the heart of Madeira alongside the age-old water channels (Levada) weaving through the lush landscapes, cascading waterfalls, and a tunnel Following the trail, as it winds its way through the terrain, you´ll encounter old stone bridges, vibrant floral bounty, waterfalls that plunge down sheer rock faces, and their icy water gathered from the high peaks and channeled into the Levada. These are the Moinhos - the 'mills' - the beating heart of Madeira's water system. When you´ve completed the trail, there you´ll be greeted by our driver ready to take you to the next destination. The small village of Ponta do Sol, where you´ll have time to relax and have a beer by the sea, have lunch, or even explore the nearby scenery.
