If you want to enjoy trekking on the Cerro de la Mitras, you can have this great experience in the western part of Monterrey. We start on a steady trail with no major difficulty. Along the way, we'll enjoy varied vegetation until we reach an area we call the “stone bed”. From here, we continue on a steeper trail until we reach the so-called Paso de las Bicicletas, where we'll enjoy views of the city. Once we're close to our ending point at the mines, we'll have the opportunity to explore the cave called La Voladora. We'll enter the mine with the help of a lamp and also see the Mina del Ahorcado. After enjoying all these formations, our descent begins.
