If you want to enjoy a hike on Cerro de la Mitras, you can experience this great adventure in the western part of Monterrey. We'll start on a steady, easy trail. Along the way, we'll enjoy a variety of vegetation until we reach an area we call the “stone bed.” From here, the trail becomes steeper until we reach the so-called “Paso de las Bicicletas” (Bicycle Pass), where we'll enjoy views of the city. As we approach our final destination, the mines, we'll have the opportunity to explore the cave known as La Voladora. We'll enter the mine with the help of a flashlight and also visit the Mina del Ahorcado (Hangman's Mine). After enjoying all these formations, we'll begin our descent.
