Misaki is the southern-most port town of the Miura peninsula, Kanagawa prefecture; about an hour and a half train ride from central Tokyo.
It is famous as a landing point for deep-sea tuna ships. Upon their return, each ship holds up on the mast their own Big Catch flag. It also tells fishermen’s family on their husband / father / brothers / boyfriend’s safe retirn.
The biggest highlight of this tour is that you can dye your own big-catch flag of the design and colors of your preference. Once it is finalized by the master of the shop, it will be sent to your home abroad later.
