What you can expect

  • Experience one of Sri Lanka’s most popular wildlife adventures with a jeep safari to Minneriya National Park from Sigiriya.

    Travel in a comfortable 4x4 safari jeep with an experienced local guide and search for wild Asian elephants, deer, monkeys, crocodiles, peacocks, and many bird species.

    During the dry season, Minneriya becomes famous for “The Gathering,” where large numbers of elephants gather around the reservoir — one of Asia’s best wildlife experiences.

    Depending on elephant movement and sightings, the safari may also take place in Kaudulla National Park or Hurulu Eco Park to give you the best chance of seeing elephants.
