Join our private tour to visit two gorgeous places: the colonial-era city of Taxco with its gorgeous architecture in the 250-year-old Church of Santa Prisca (UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List), and Grutas de Cacahuamilpa National Park, one of the largest and most beautiful cave systems in the world.

Itinerary

After pick-up, head to Cacahuamilpa Caves, a protected natural area that is home to infinite systems of tunnels and caverns. Those connect to chambers and underground halls that were once used by the Chontal tribes to worship the gods of the underworld. After a guided walk of the cave system, go to Taxco, Gro.

Situated in the mountains, Taxco is a beautiful colonial town famous for its long-standing mining and silversmith traditions since the 16th century, narrow picturesque streets, and architecture that hasn’t changed in the last couple of centuries.

One of the symbols of the town is a UNESCO-nominated 200-year-old baroque-style church, the Santa Prisca Cathedral.

After exploring these two wonderful places, return to your vehicle and relax on the way back to Mexico City.
