We will meet at the Indios Verdes Cablebus station and begin our journey to one of the most populated barrios in Mexico City. We will ride the gondolas and enjoy the views as we travel to the last town north of the city.
At the final station, friends and family members who work in the local cab business will drive us through the barrio, where we can experience the intense driving conditions that are part of daily life.
We will see how locals live and become part of the experience as we make our way to the Sierra de Guadalupe nature reserve.
At the top, we will begin a short mountain hike to a pulqueria farm in a unique location on the mountain's edge, overlooking Mexico City, the State of Mexico, and part of Hidalgo State. Three states in one.
We will enjoy this naturally fermented drink, which has been part of the local culture since the time of the Indigenous peoples who once lived in these lands.
The Aztecs, the Maya, and other cultures also produced this drink, and the process used to make it remains the same today.
Afterwards, we will drive down the hill and offer an optional lunch stop at a local restaurant, where we will suggest dishes that many visitors miss during their trip to Mexico.
We will then ride the Cablebus back down to the initial meeting point and finish the day where we first met.
