Arrive in the pretty district of Potrerillos and settle in before the activity begins. Then, start trekking with your guide to the summit of Cerro Calavera, 2212 meters above sea level. Famous for its accessibility for hikers and bikers, Mount Calavera boasts beautiful vegetation, awesome lake views, and plenty of animal sightings.

During the hike, listen to fascinating anecdotes and history from your passionate guide, including the history of the area, the flora and fauna of the region, some information on the mountain, and typical regional customs. After an approximately 3-hour ascent, reach the top of the stunning Calavera Mountain. Take some time to rest and enjoy water and fruits to recharge.

From the top, marvel at spectacular vistas over the region, the Cordón del Plata mountain range, and Lake Calavera. Finally, begin the descent, lasting up to 2 hours. Once you arrive back at the local partner's office, take your time relaxing and enjoying a typical, poolside lunch before returning to Mendoza.
