What you can expect

During this tour, you will stop for tastings at three of Melbourne’s coolest whiskey and gin bars, including Melbourne’s oldest dedicated whisky bar and the only distillery in the CBD. You will taste different liquors and learn about the history of each spirit.

Learn about the man dubbed the Ned Kelly of Victorian whisky, how Victoria – not Tasmania – led whiskey and gin production in the 19th and early 20th Century, and hear about the local distillery which was so good, its overseas owners demanded they lower their quality to stop beating foreign competitors. You will also learn fun facts about the rich global history of whisky and gin.
