However, the island remains largely undeveloped, which adds to its charm as a peaceful getaway.
8:30 AM – Depart for Mbudya Island
Arrive at jangwani sea breeze or other area serene beach resort and hire a boat to take you to Mbudya Island. The boat ride is about 10-20 minutes.
9:30 AM – Arrival at Mbudya Island
Settle on the beach: Rent a beach hut (bandas) for shade and use it as your base for the day.
Explore the island briefly and take in the beautiful surroundings.
10:00 AM – Snorkeling and Swimming
Snorkeling: Mbudya has vibrant coral reefs. Rent snorkeling gear o, and explore the underwater world with colorful fish and coral gardens.
Swimming: Enjoy a swim in the warm Indian Ocean waters.
11:00 AM – Relax and Sunbathe
Relax on the soft sandy beach or under your banda. You can bring a book or just enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the island.
