Escape the crowds on an intimate, personalised sunrise or afternoon hike on Le Morne Brabant, one of Mauritius’ iconic UNESCO World Heritage Sites. With just 1–6 guests and a passionate local Mauritian guide, enjoy personalised guiding and unforgettable moments in nature.
Le Morne rises to 556 m above sea level. Our guided hike reaches approximately 490 m at the cross, the highest point reached during the hike.
Sunrise or Afternoon Hikes
Watch the first rays of sunlight from the cross on a sunrise hike, or enjoy an afternoon ascent as the daytime crowds fade. Sunrise departures begin beneath the stars and unfold through dawn’s soft colours. Afternoon hikes offer brighter colours as the landscape shifts into dusk.
Trail Breakdown
The ascent takes approximately 1.5–2 hours, with regular rest stops. The first section climbs steadily to around 260 m before the rocky scramble, where hands and feet provide extra stability. Your guide offers support at a pace suited to the group.
The Cross
Spend around 30 minutes enjoying panoramic turquoise lagoon views and a complimentary summit snack.
