What you can expect
Begin your adventure at Pointe des Régates in Mahébourg, where you’ll meet the crew at 9:15 am before boarding the catamaran for a full day exploring Mauritius’ stunning southeast coast. Cruise across calm turquoise waters toward Trou Moutou, a natural aquarium known for its vibrant marine life. Here, you’ll snorkel among colourful fish with the crew’s guidance, surrounded by crystal-clear lagoon scenery.
Continue sailing past Île de La Passe and Île au Phare, two historic islets rich in cultural heritage. Your skippers will share fascinating stories and insights as you glide past these emblematic landmarks. A delicious BBQ lunch (see menu below) is then served on board, complete with grilled meats, salads, and refreshing drinks—perfectly paired with open sea views and the gentle ocean breeze.
After lunch, the catamaran heads up the estuary of the Grand River South East, where you’ll spot playful monkeys and a large bat colony along the riverbanks before reaching the impressive GRSE waterfall. This scenic moment is one of the highlights of the day, offering a chance to admire one of Mauritius’ most famous natural attractions.
Your journey continues to the iconic Île aux Cerfs, where you’ll disembark and enjoy free time on its soft sandy beaches. Swim, sunbathe, stroll the shoreline, or simply take in the breathtaking lagoon views that make this island a must-see destination. After soaking up the island’s charm, the catamaran departs around 3:00 pm, returning to Mahébourg jetty by 4:30 pm, closing a day filled with relaxation, exploration, and unforgettable coastal beauty.
