Your Tour begins with pick up from your hotel or directly from our office. Experience our comfortable new Mercedes Sprinter vans and your Alaskan Guide. Headed out of Anchorage we'll share some highlights. We then head North on the Glenn Highway your guide will share interesting information along the way to the Matnuska Glacier. and the various communities along the way,
Once arriving at Matanuska Glacier, the glacier guides will outfit you with ice spikes and helmets (in the summer); there are also hiking poles available for your use. These guides are experts in what the glacier has to offer each day and will partner with our glacier guides to deliver an amazing experience.
There will be lots of opportunities for great photos! After your approximately 2-hour adventure on the ice we head next door for lunch at an authentic Alaska lodge with an epic view of the glacier. Heading home after lunch, we'll stop at scenic points to enjoy and drop at your lodging in Anchorage.
