What you can expect
As soon as you arrive at the meeting point, our team will warmly welcome you for this afternoon excursion, before a short briefing on the itinerary. You can board from Fort-de-France or Anse Mitan. The excursion then heads to the south of the island, famous for its heavenly beaches and crystal clear waters.
First stop: the village of Anses-d'Arlet. This charming coastal village is a perfect spot for snorkeling around the rock, known for its wide variety of tropical fish. The clear water makes it easy to see, even for beginners. After this first encounter with marine life, you'll head back to Grande Anse, a site renowned for its marine grass beds. This is where you'll have the best chance of seeing turtles peacefully living in their natural habitat.
The tour continues to Anse Dufour, an authentic fishing village with colorful houses, where you can enjoy a break to admire the local atmosphere and the landscape. Right next door is Anse Noire, the next stop and a unique place: it's the only black sand beach in the south of Martinique. Its contrast with the turquoise waters makes it a spectacular and memorable setting.
Finally, your guide will tell you the story of Ramier Island, which was once a strategic location for protecting the bay of Fort-de-France. This last stop adds a cultural touch to the day, blending nature, heritage, and discovery.
To top off this experience, a fresh fruit platter, local accras, a homemade planter, soft drinks, and a small punch will be offered for a moment of pure relaxation.
Throughout the excursion, everyone moves at their own pace: snorkeling, relaxing on the beach, or simply taking in the scenery. The return is organized with a safety margin to ensure you're on board the ship at the scheduled time. You'll leave with unforgettable memories: marine encounters, authentic villages, and unforgettable panoramas of southern Martinique.
