What you can expect

  • Discover the tropical rainforest, the city of Saint-Pierre that was destroyed by the volcano in 1902, a rum distillery, a small waterfall, and a beach on this tour. Sample local food and beverages at each stop, including pastries, hot chocolate, and exotic fruits.

    Start your tour with a pickup from the cruise terminal or your hotel in Fort-de-France. Our first stop will be the replica of the famous Sacre Coeur in Paris, then we will start our itinerary on the roads of the rainforest. After a refreshing stop at the river, head to the waterfall and feel fully immersed in nature.

    We will proceed to the city of Saint-Pierre, which was destroyed by the volcano in 1902. Stop at the ruins of the theater and learn about its history.

    Next, visit a rum distillery and learn about the rum-making process. Sample some local rum and then head to a small grey sand beach. Enjoy a refreshing drink and take in the beautiful views.

    Finally, head back to your cruise ship or hotel in Fort-de-France.
