This day of discovery begins at the Maurice Aubert area within our BeFree2Dive center, located in the majestic Baie des Anges Marina.
There are numerous parking lots nearby (paid).
Alternatively, you can reach us by bus or train (a 5- or 10-minute walk, respectively, from the Villeneuve-Loubet Plage stop).
The meeting point is at 9:00 a.m. for a detailed briefing and the distribution of equipment for the activities: boat life jackets and a snorkeling kit (fins, mask, snorkel, and wetsuit) for those wishing to get in the water.
Don't forget your picnic, a bottle of water, a hat, and sunscreen!
At 9:45 a.m., you will board our fast, seaworthy rigid inflatable boat for a two-hour cruise off the coast and around the Pelagos Marine Reserve.
You may have the chance to encounter various mammals, birds, and other marine animals (dolphins, shearwaters, tuna, etc.), as well as enjoy the magnificent panorama of the French Riviera and the Alps.
Our team is trained in best practices for observing marine animals: https://whale-watching-label.com/
From around 11:45 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., you will have the opportunity to enjoy a meal near the Lérins Islands off Cannes or near Cap d'Antibes (depending on weather conditions).
The afternoon will then be dedicated to a guided snorkeling tour, where you will discover the coastal seabed in the company of one of our certified, passionate, and experienced instructors!
Sea stars, sea urchins, colorful fish, Posidonia… the Mediterranean harbors a wealth of life that is often unknown to the general public, and many of these species are protected.
Finally, around 3:00 pm, the return boat trip along the coast will provide an opportunity to show you the opulent villas and the ramparts of Antibes, a fortified town steeped in history since antiquity.
You will return to the marina port at 4:00 PM.
You can take advantage of our facilities to rinse off and freshen up before perhaps heading out for a drink or a snack at one of the many establishments in the Bay of Angels Marina.
An unforgettable day at sea to discover yourself and the marine environment
