You must weigh less than 260 pounds (118 kg).
You must have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to swim on your own for approximately 328 ft (100m) from the boat to the beach.
If you have back, neck, heart or respiratory problems, you should carefully consider whether to participate.
If you are pregnant, you should not take part.
Maximum group size is 23 people.
A nominal surcharge for admission to the Marietas Islands National Park is payable on the day of your activity. A portion of your fee goes to local conservation efforts.
Access to the Lovers' Beach is not guaranteed and depends on sea conditions the day of your activity.
You will arrange your exact tour departure time directly with the local tour operator after booking.

Discover the Marietas Islands, an incredibly diverse sanctuary famous for its Lovers' Beach. See the native wildlife as you cruise around the islands and get a chance to walk on the hidden beach before whale-watching just off the coast of Puerto Vallarta.

Meet your guide in Puerto Vallarta and board a boat headed for the Marietas Islands. Before you reach the shore, cruise around the islands that make up the national park, keeping your eyes peeled for unique bird species and wildlife. As you float, your guide educates you about the astounding biodiversity that exists on and around the shores.

Soon, make your way to Lovers' Beach, a hidden cove nestled in one of the island's craters. The beach is accessible through a short tunnel on the ocean side of the crater—equip your snorkeling gear and hop into the water to swim from the boat. You emerge on the other side of the tunnel at a beautiful beach walled on every side by round crater walls.

On the return to Puerto Vallarta, be on the lookout for the humpback whales that migrate through the area during the winter. Catch sight of the majestic creatures breaching the surface, or watch for the flip of a fin. Once you've reached shore, you're taken back to your starting point.
