Begin in the living Maritime Quarter (Sjökvarteret), home to wooden boatyards, craft workshops and the Seamen's Chapel (Sjömanskapellet). From here the route continues to the Åland Navigation School (Navigationsskolan), where generations of windjammer captains trained.

Museumship Pommern (Pass by)

Admire the Pommern, a four-masted steel barque from Mariehamn's legendary windjammer fleet, now a museum ship moored at the Western Harbour.

Aland Maritime Museum (Pass by)

One of the world's finest maritime museums tells the story of Åland's great age of sail. Nearby stand the former residence of shipping magnate Gustaf Erikson and the former office of his company, Rederiaktiebolaget Gustaf Erikson, before the route ends at the Western Harbour (Västra Hamnen) where his legendary windjammer fleet once berthed.
