From the Juanar parking lot, we first hike leisurely through shady forests before the first ascent is very rocky and stair-like. Once we reach the top, we get our first views of the stunning coastline of Marbella.

After a picnic with a snack and a drink, we continue our hike until we reach the top of a somewhat adventurous mountain face.

The last section to the summit is strenuous and not without danger - not for beginners!

Experience the wildlife here with various wild animals, including birds, wild boar and occasionally even Iberian wild goats.

Once at the top, the views are breathtaking and spectacular, stretching as far as the coast of Africa and the Strait of Gibraltar in good conditions. You can also see the entire Costa del Sol and the hinterland of Andalusia.

The climb can be demanding and requires good physical condition as well as suitable equipment with good, sturdy footwear, a rucksack and sun protection.
