Look for the blue-and-white boom gate at the marina’s security entrance. This is the main access point to the marina complex, where vehicles enter and exit. Once you arrive at the gate, our Moz Camp Adventures team will be waiting nearby to welcome you and guide you to the boat departure area. The location is easy to find by taxi or private transport, and it is commonly known by drivers as “Maputo Marina near Waterfront restaurant”. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before departure time to allow for check-in and boarding.

    From June to November, navigate through the waters around Inhaca Island and Portuguese Island in search of humpback whales during their annual migration. Guided by experienced local captains who know the best observation areas, you will have the opportunity to witness these magnificent creatures in their natural environment.

    After whale watching, make a stop at Portuguese Island for a relaxing picnic break on the beach, surrounded by crystal-clear waters and untouched nature.
