The PADI Open Water Diver certification combines engaging theory lessons, skill-development sessions, and exhilarating open water dives. With this certification, you’ll be qualified to dive to depths of 18 meters alongside a buddy with an equal or higher certification, all while mastering essential skills to handle various underwater situations safely.

Prior to coming to Malta, you will be sent an online code to gain access to the learning which can be completed before your diving begins. Once you arrive at the centre you should be ready to start your in-water section of the course.

At the centre on your first day you will fill in paperwork and try equipment before being driven to a beautiful dive site where the water is clear and calm in order to complete both shallow and deeper dives of the course. You will be taught skills in confined water before advancing on to open water dives up to 18m.

Once youve completed the course, you can use this certification anywhere in the world while diving with a buddy. Malta is the perfect place to start as the waters are warm through Summer and with easy entry into the diving world.
