Step into a fairytale landscape at Funnys Äventyr, a creative and playful cultural center for children in Malmö. Wander through beloved children’s books and explore six interactive play exhibits.

Peek into Alfie Atkins’ kitchen, jump in the hay with Pettson and Findus, and go back to the Viking age with Halvdan and Meia. Solve a mystery with the Cat Spies in a miniature of Rosengård, visit Moomin Valley, and get to know the ordinary but unusual girl Funny and her friend Humble the Bumblebee.

Every day we play exciting shows for the whole family in the theatre. There is plenty of room here for many visitors, old and young. Many children get to see their very first theater at Funnys Äventyr. Sit down on a soft seat cushion, soon the lights go out, the audience falls silent and turns their eyes to the big stage. Usually the performance is about 15 minutes long so that everyone, even those with low patience, can experience the theatre. The shows are in Swedish.

Experience fairy tales in a new way with our carousel of stories. We travel from wonderland, through the dry desert and to the final destination at the bottom of the sea. Through the journey in the carousel, you get to listen, see and experience the fairy tales in a completely new way, because the rows of benches in the carousel spin around three different lands of fairytales. The narrator tells the story while you follow the characters on the stage in front of you. The fairy tales come to life with light, sound and hand-painted dolls. The ride takes about 15 minutes and the stories are read in Swedish, English, German, Danish and Arabic. This is a carousel like no other. Take a seat on the benches, put on your headphones and choose which language you want to listen to. An enchanting journey you won't forget will soon begin.

In Funny's Garden Café, we cook food with the flavours of the season in focus. We want it to be a wonderful experience to eat and have coffee with us. That's why we follow the seasons of the year when we prepare exciting and creative dishes, but also safe flavours that the whole family enjoys. Imagine a cafe where it's summer all year round. In Funny's Garden Café, you can settle down under the branches of the tree, smell the flowers and enjoy the delicacies that come out of the kitchen. Here we have both slightly smaller dishes, slightly larger ones and of course plenty of desserts.

We also have Sweden's first Moomin Shop! Buy a mug or two with the famous Moomin designs. Books, socks, t-shirts or maybe just a nice key ring? In the shop, there are products from all our fairy tale characters who live upstairs. The books about Alfies Atkins, small figures from Pettson & Findus, the tales about Funny and the bumblebee Djojj as a stuffed animal, Viking things from Halvdan & Meia and of course the books about the Cat Spies in Rosengård.
