Activity itinerary

Hira Cultural District
  • 1h

Our day begins in the Hira District, home to the sacred mountain where revelation began. We first visit the Revelation Exhibition, a remarkable cultural landmark located beside Mount Hira. This exhibition is dedicated to the story of divine revelation and its connection to Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ). Through immersive displays and interactive exhibits, visitors experience the powerful moment when Angel Jibreel (AS) revealed the first verses of the Holy Qur’an to the Prophet (ﷺ) in the Cave of Hira.
Holy Quran Museum

Next, we explore the Museum of the Holy Qur’an, the first of its kind in Makkah. This museum beautifully showcases the greatness and preservation of the Qur’an, highlighting its influence on Muslim civilization across centuries. It features ancient Qur’anic manuscripts, rare artifacts, and modern digital exhibits that allow visitors to witness the divine message through history.
Jabal al-Nour
  • 1h
  • Admission ticket included
We then ascend to Jabal Al Nour, famously known as the Mountain of Light, which houses the sacred Cave of Hira. It was here, in Ramadhan 610 CE, that Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) received the first revelation of the Qur’an. The mountain offers a profound spiritual experience along with panoramic views of Makkah and the Holy Mosque.
Mecca Museum

In the afternoon, we visit the Museum of Makkah, a treasure trove of Islamic art, culture, and history. The museum consists of seven exhibition halls containing over 100,000 artifacts, including ancient Qur’an manuscripts, architectural relics, and displays celebrating the intellectual and artistic achievements of the Muslim world. The museum also serves as a cultural center where Muslims from around the globe can share and exchange their perspectives on faith and tradition.
Mosque of the Jinn (Pass by)
We continue to the Mosque of the Jinn, one of Makkah’s most historically significant mosques. It marks the site mentioned in Surah Al-Jinn, where a group of jinn listened to the Prophet (ﷺ) recite the Qur’an, accepted Islam, and pledged their allegiance to him — an event that signifies the universality of the Prophet’s message.
The Kiswa Factory Of The Holy Ka'aba
  • 2h
  • Admission ticket included
Our next stop is the Kiswa Factory of the Holy Kaaba, where the Kaaba’s black silk covering (Kiswa) is produced each year. The fabric, woven from pure silk and embroidered with gold and silver threads, bears verses from the Qur’an. Visitors will witness each stage of the intricate production process carried out by more than 200 skilled artisans, a truly inspiring example of devotion and craftsmanship.
Exhibition Of The Two Holy Masjids Architecture
  • 2h
  • Admission ticket included
We conclude the day at the Exhibition of the Two Holy Mosques’ Architecture, which offers an extraordinary journey through the architectural and historical evolution of Masjid Al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid An-Nabawi in Madinah.
