Escape to the Makadi Bay desert for a unique Bedouin cultural and culinary experience. Your journey begins with a hotel pick-up, taking you through the stunning desert landscape. Upon arrival at BADU Camp, receive a warm Bedouin welcome with traditional Arabic coffee, fresh dates, and chilled karkade tea.

Start your adventure with a scenic short camel ride and then horseback riding, following the ancient desert trails and admiring the breathtaking scenery. Back at camp, take part in hands-on cultural workshops, including Bedouin bread-making over an open flame and coffee roasting and brewing, where you’ll learn the secrets of traditional Arabic coffee.

Next, indulge in a delicious four-course Bedouin BBQ lunch, freshly prepared over an open fire. Begin with a comforting bowl of traditional lentil or orzo soup, rich in flavor and perfect for warming up. Enjoy a selection of tahini salad, baba ghanoug, Arabic green salad, and freshly baked Bedouin bread.

Savor grilled chicken, BBQ kofta, rice, and sautéed vegetables, infused with authentic Bedouin flavors. End your meal with seasonal fruit, paired with Bedouin tea.

After lunch, relax in the majestic desert setting as live Bedouin music fills the air, blending with the natural sounds of the dunes. End your experience with a peaceful sungazing session, watching the golden desert light shimmer before your return transfer to the hotel.
